Online Seminar | October 12, 2023 | 4:00 PM

Personal Injury Barrister Haroon Rashid is preparing a new seminar for serious injury practitioners - ‘The Extension of Fixed Recoverable Costs and the Impact on Serious Injury Litigation’.

Please be advised ‘The Extension of Fixed Recoverable Costs and the Impact on Serious Injury Litigation’ has replaced the previously scheduled ‘Staying One Step Ahead in Serious Injury Cases’.

‘The Extension of Fixed Recoverable Costs and the Impact on Serious Injury Litigation’ is a free online seminar that is set to take place on 12/10/23 from 4pm - 5pm. Please book your place in advance by filling out the form at the bottom of this page – registration closes on 11/10/23.

This seminar is still, however, designed to help Personal Injury Lawyers enhance their approach to serious injury work by gaining an understanding of new changes to Personal Injury Law and how these changes will affect serious injury litigation.

What Will This Seminar Cover?

This seminar will cover several upcoming changes to Personal Injury Law to give you an understanding of how it will impact your Personal Injury practice. Changes the seminar will cover include fixed recoverable costs, fixed costs, new practice direction, fast track, and part 36.

From the 1st of October 2023 fixed recoverable costs will be extended across the fast track and in a new intermediate track for cases valued up to £100,000 in damages.

There have been substantial changes to Part 45 – fixed costs, which has largely been rewritten.

There is a new practice direction to Part 45, with the relevant tables of costs.

Part 26 of the practice direction 26 has also changed, as well as Part 28, fast track, and practice direction to Part 28.

There have also been some changes to Part 36 – offers to settle.

Haroon Rashid will cover all the above changes to Personal Injury Law and provide attendees with as many useful recommendations as possible.

So, if this sounds like an informative seminar that will help you to stay ahead in your serious injury cases, don’t hesitate to sign up using the form at the bottom of the page. The last day for registration is 11/10/23 and invites to the virtual seminar will be sent out on 12/10/23.
