Richard Lees Appointed as a Deputy District Judge

Kenworthy’s Chambers are pleased to announce that Mr Richard Lees has been appointed as a Deputy District Judge by the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable Lord Burnett of Maldon.

Richard Lees will now sit as a part-time Deputy District Judge on the Northern Circuit.

Speaking about his appointment, Head of Chambers Barry Grennan said, “Really well done on your appointment. Well deserved!”

Deputy Head of Chambers, Patrick Cassidy, proudly declared, “Very well-done Richard. Huge congratulations.”  

Plus, Practice Manager Maria Rushworth said, “Congratulations Richard we are all very proud of your appointment. Well done.”

Head of Personal Injury, Michael Smith, said he was “delighted to hear the news of your appointment. Many congratulations and wishing you every success.”  

Shazia Khan expressed, “Congratulations on this appointment.” Meanwhile, David Morton and Yasser Iqbal both wished him congratulations and thought his appointment was “excellent news”.
