Patrick Cassidy successfully defended a client accused of fifteen rape offences at Manchester Crown Court.

Following a cross-examination of the complainant, the Trial Judge asked the Prosecution to consider their duty to review the evidence; given the many inconsistencies, the Crown dropped the case against Patrick's client the following day.
