Kenworthy’s Chambers Takes on New Pupil Zahra Khan
Kenworthy’s Chambers is pleased to announce that we have taken on Zahra Khan, she will be welcomed to chambers as a Pupil starting in September 2024.
Zahra will be undertaking a mixed practice of Crime and Family Law.
Maria Rushworth, Kenworthy’s Chambers’ Practice Manager said: "We received plenty of strong applications this year and are thrilled to announce Zahra Khan’s pupillage will commence in September, as she is a truly outstanding candidate!”
Zahra Khan shared elation at being chosen, saying: “Kenworthy’s Chambers stood out to me for their impressive reputation on the Circuit across all practice areas and their commitment to diversity and the local community.
“Being chosen to be a Pupil at Kenworthy’s Chambers is a huge privilege and is the culmination of years of hard work.
“I am very fortunate to have been offered a pupillage that will encourage and allow me to explore my interest in more than one area of law and provide a good grounding at the outset of my career at the Bar.
“I am extremely proud to be joining a set that I share values with, and I look forward to becoming involved with all that Chambers does!”
Once she begins the practicing six months of pupillage, Zahra Khan will be supported by our Criminal Clerks Paul Mander and Greg Highton as well as our Family Clerks Daniella Howarth and AJ.
The prospect of working with members of Kenworthy’s Chambers is one which excites Zahra, who added, “I hope to learn how to become a well-rounded and successful Advocate both in and out of court. I look forward to learning the practicalities and logistics of managing a career at the Bar.”
