Kenworthy’s Chambers is thrilled to announce the arrival of a new Barrister to bolster the strength of our Crime Team.

Syed Hussain joins Kenworthy’s Chambers, starting on the 8th of July 2026, bringing extensive knowledge across the full spectrum of criminal cases and a commitment to building strong relationships with Solicitors, clients and Clerks. 

Speaking about the appointment, Senior Criminal Clerk Paul Mander said, “Syed’s background as a Crown Advocate with the CPS gives him a thorough understanding of the criminal justice system, and he brings along a wealth of experience. We are really pleased to welcome him to Chambers.”

As a Criminal Barrister, Syed Hussain has a broad criminal practice with a particular interest in serious violence, drugs and fraud offences. He is looking forward to undertaking more complex trials and appellate work as he develops his practice.
