Criminal Barrister Chudi Grant defended Selina Simms in a 7-day Trial at Birmingham Crown Court.

Selina Simms had been charged with two counts of assisting an offender, namely being her partner and 19-year-old son after they were convicted for the murder of Kenichi Phillips in 2016.

Selina Simms was found to have unregistered mobile phones to keep in contact with her son, Disharn Downie, and her partner, Isaiah Wright-Young, after they became key suspects in the shooting and murder of 18-year-old Kenichi Phillips.
