Josephine was called to the Bar in 1984 and now predominantly practices in Credit Hire and Personal Injury matters on behalf of Claimants and Defendants, amongst other areas of Civil Litigation.
Josephine also has a developed interest an experience in residential development and planning law at a local authority level, she accepts instructions from affected parties and groups addressing planning committees and dealing with residential and commercial planning issues; and advises and drafts applications for Judicial Review and Planning Appeals.

Josephine has a particular expertise in cases involving Credit Hire, representing both claimants and defendants throughout the county courts on Credit Hire Fast Track matters.
She has experience in drafting, advisory work and conferences, as well as, carrying out training sessions for firms, insurers and Credit Hire organisations.
Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence
Jo has extensive experience as a civil law practitioner representing both claimants and defendants and is regularly instructed in fast and multi-track claims, appeals and test cases. She has experience in drafting, advisory work and conferences and carries out training sessions for firms, insurers and CHO's on instructions from solicitors.
With a busy practice she represents clients in personal injury, credit hire, rta's/fraud cases and has wide experience of Occupiers Liability Act litigation, Employer's liability claims, CICA, Package Tour Regulation Claims and Consumer Law representing both Claimants and Defendants at hearings. Jo advises in writing on liability, quantum, evidence, settlement, and costs issues.
Business and Property Group
Jo has experience and expertise in planning law after developed an interest in residential development and planning law at local authority level. She currently undertakes work for affected parties and groups addressing planning committees dealing with residential and planning issues; and advises on draft applications for judicial review and planning appeals.
She has experience of cohabitee dispute resolution and hearings with a particular interest in the recovery of assets following separation.
