In asylum cases, Gita Patel has represented appellants from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Pakistan, China, Sri Lanka, Iran, Iraq, Cameroon, DRC, Yemen, Sudan, Somalia, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Angola, Zimbabwe, Lebanon, Palestinian Occupied Territories and Togo.

As an Immigration Barrister, Gita Patel is experienced in judicial reviews. She has handled judicial reviews on refusals to visit the UK, on preventing removal from the UK, and on human trafficking.

She has plenty of experience representing vulnerable people in Human Rights cases. Gita Patel has represented minors, the elderly, females, and those with mental health issues.
