Bill joins Chambers with almost 25 years prosecution experience for the CPS.

As a Crown Advocate he has prosecuted trials for:

  • wounding with intent and lesser assaults
  • robbery
  • public order offences
  • burglary
  • dangerous driving
  • possession of Class A drugs with intent
  • breach of protective orders, and
  • fraud

He also has many years experience of prosecuting drink/drive cases.

He prosecuted Operation Rosebud from pre-charge to conviction and sentence at Crown Court (Class A drugs, burglary and handling).

As Divisional Crown Prosecutor for Bolton and Wigan he was lead lawyer for Operation Waddington (Class A drugs and firearms) and Operation Ore (child internet abuse) amongst others.

He has also appeared at the Court of Appeal in sentencing cases.
