Specialising in Criminal Defence, Barry is one of the most sought after practitioners in his field and he is regularly involved in cases of the utmost severity and complexity. 

He has practised heavyweight and white collar crime for over 20 years, encompassing gangland and other murders; death by dangerous; child destruction; gun running and firearms offences; armed robbery; complex drug conspiracy operations; serious gross sexual allegations and historic sexual offences; rape; sex and people trafficking.  Barry also has particular expertise in complex multi-handed serious fraud; money laundering; carousel fraud; mortgage fraud; and complex and involved regulatory crime.  He also undertakes conviction and sentence appeals, including merit-testing cases.

His passion for justice enables him to pursue cases with merit and he regularly attends The Administrative Court.
