Pupillage Applications

Kenworthy's Chambers welcomes applications for pupillage from suitably qualified, enthusiastic and motivated candidates from all backgrounds.

Recruitment is on the basis of merit only and we are committed to providing our pupils with the very best training and preparation for life at the Bar. Pupillages are generally for twelve months and are funded in accordance with the Bar Council's regulations.

Selection is by way of a short first interview with the best candidates progressing to a second round before a final decision is made. Tenancy is offered on the basis of a pupil's performance during their time in pupillage.

Each pupil is assigned their own Pupil Supervisor who will direct and oversee their time in Chambers. Pupil Supervisors also conduct monthly reviews with pupils to discuss progress and give advice on practice development.

To apply for pupillage or mini-pupillage, please forward a full CV with a covering letter and an Equal Opportunities Monitoring form (click here)  addressed to Maria Rushworth, Practice Manager. 2013 pupillage applications need to arrive by 30th September 2012.

We're also currently looking for a third six pupil with experience and a keen interest in employment law to join our established and well-respected employment team. The successful applicant will have a pupil supervisor specialising in employment law, and will also be expected to practise in our other main areas of work.

As a Kenworthy's pupil you will be expected to take part in all aspects of Chambers life.

To apply for this third six pupillage, please send a full CV with a covering letter and an Equal Opportunities Monitoring form (click here)  addressed to Maria Rushworth, Practice Manager. The closing date is 17th February 2012, and successful applicants will be invited for interview Monday 27th February.
