Paul regularly represents both Local Authorities and parents before the First Tier Tribunal in appeals relating to Special Educational Needs and also disability discrimination. He has a good understanding of the business constraints and also of the emotional pressures that can prevail in these cases, and is well-versed in operating in the less formal atmosphere that the Tribunal encourages.

Paul is also experienced in other aspects of education law, and represents at exclusion and admission appeals, as well as advising schools on governance issues, and assisting students with complaints to the Office of the Independent Adjudicator.
