by Kenworthy's Chambers 07/09/2018

Mark Schwenk will be returning to Athens to volunteer with the Refugee Legal Support Project for two weeks, just over a year ago, both Mark Schwenk and John Nicholson volunteered with ILPA (Immigration Law Practitioners Association) for the RLS, based at the Khora Community Centre in Athens.

The "Refugee Legal Support Project" has now been established for around 18 months and recently won the Lexis Nexis Pro Bono Award 2018. The project's volunteers have assisted substantial numbers of refugees every day who have been trying to find safety in Europe, having fled from war-torn Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan.
