Yasser was called to the Bar in 2011 and joined Chambers as a pupil having previously worked for a leading personal injury firm where he managed a large litigation department and gained valuable experience in personal injury (mainly RTA) practice. As well as his civil practice, he is also developing his criminal and immigration practice and is currently being supervised by members of Chambers in these areas.

Yasser is also experienced in credit hire and is regularly instructed for trials by both claimants and defendants.

He is qualified to accept instructions from members of the public under the Direct Public Access scheme.

Yasser is fluent in both Punjabi and Urdu.

Interests Outside of Law

Yasser has a keen interest in politics and is an elected councillor having first been elected at the age of 23. He was also elected the mayor of his town becoming one of the youngest mayors in the country during his term.

He is also a keen charity worker and is open to accept instructions on a pro-bono basis for deserving cases.
